Skrin Business Consulting and Services was founded in 1983 by Mr. William Peter in Ireland. What started as a small advisory firm with a vision to connect talent with opportunity has evolved into a respected name in European advisory.
Over the next 15 years, Skrin experienced remarkable growth, expanding operations across four countries: Ireland, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Belgium. Each expansion represented our commitment to understanding local markets while maintaining our core values of transparency, quality, and human-centered service.
Following Mr. Peter's passing in 2020, Skrin faced significant challenges, including financial difficulties due to an employee surplus. In 2023, the company was put up for sale, marking a pivotal moment in our history.
That same year, Skrin was acquired by two innovative Belgian startups—one an advisory firm and the other a software company—with a combined workforce of 10 employees. This strategic acquisition brought fresh perspectives, modern technology, and renewed energy to Skrin's operations.
Today, Skrin operates exclusively from Belgium with a dedicated team of 23 employees, including freelancers. We're combining our four decades of advisory expertise with cutting-edge technology and innovative approaches to deliver exceptional results.
Looking ahead, plans are underway to merge Skrin with one of the acquiring companies, further streamlining operations and enhancing our ability to serve clients with even greater efficiency and effectiveness.
